The 2014 GBTA Convention is July 26-30, 2014 and is being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center located at 1201 South Figueroa Street Los Angeles, California 90015.

GBTA Convention is where travel professionals converge to learn about the latest ways to keep pace with the delightfully dizzying speed of industry advancement. 360 days of the year, they all push forward as individuals, but July 26-30th, the dynamic members of our world’s business travel community will swap ideas and forge connections to accelerate as one. Speakers include: Richard Anderson  CEO of Delta Air Lines, Bill Glenn President and CEO of American Express Global Business Travel, Jeffery (Jeff) A. Smisek Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of United Airlines, Doug Parker CEO of American Airlines Group and American Airlines, Steve Singh CEO of Concur and John S. Pistole Administrator of  the Transportation Security Administration.

Getting There

Air – fly into Los Angeles International Airport LAX. The airport is approximately 19 miles from downtown.

Ground – Upon arrival there are several option to get to your hotel:

Car Service  There are many reputable chauffeured sedan services that service LAX and the greater Los Angeles area.

Public Transportation – there are several bus lines that service LAX airport.

Taxi  – Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the yellow sign indicating Taxis

Rental Cars – Approximately 40 rental car companies operate out of LAX, with vehicle rental sites located off the airport.
